Zendesk is a leading customer service and support platform used by businesses of all sizes. Managing your Zendesk subscription invoices is essential for tracking support software costs and budgeting. This guide will show you how to access and download invoices from your Zendesk account.
Prerequisites
You need to be an Account Owner or billing admin to access billing information and download Zendesk invoices.
Sign in to Zendesk
Access your Zendesk account:
- Go to your Zendesk subdomain (e.g., yourcompany.zendesk.com)
- Sign in with your Zendesk credentials
- Navigate to the admin center
- Ensure you have owner or billing permissions
Access Admin Center
Navigate to administration:
- Click the admin icon (gear) in the sidebar
- Select "Admin Center" from the menu
- Or go directly to admin.zendesk.com
- Look for "Account" section
Navigate to Billing
Find billing section:
- In Admin Center, click "Account" in sidebar
- Select "Billing" from the account menu
- View your subscription overview
- Look for "Subscription" or "Invoices" tab
View Invoice History
Access billing records:
- Click on "Invoices" or "Billing history" tab
- See list of all past invoices
- Each shows date, amount, and plan details
- Filter by date range if needed
Download Invoices
Get your invoice PDFs:
- Find the invoice you need
- Click "Download" or PDF icon
- Invoice downloads as PDF file
- Save for accounting purposes
Note: Invoices include Support, Chat, Talk, and other Zendesk products.
Manage Billing Details
Update billing information:
- In Billing section, update payment method
- Edit billing address and company details
- Add tax ID or VAT number
- Changes apply to future invoices
Tip: Zendesk emails invoices to the account owner's email address.
Common Issues & Solutions
Can't access Billing section in Admin Center
Only Account Owners and billing admins can access billing. Ask your account owner to grant you billing permissions or request they download the invoices.
No invoices showing in billing history
If you're on a trial, invoices won't appear until your paid subscription starts. For new accounts, the first invoice may take 24-48 hours to appear after initial charge.
Invoice download link not working
Ensure pop-ups are enabled for zendesk.com. Try clearing browser cache or using a different browser. Contact Zendesk support if the issue continues.
Invoice shows multiple Zendesk products
If you use multiple Zendesk products (Support, Chat, Talk, etc.), they may be on one invoice. Each product is itemized separately with individual costs.
