Log into PayPal Business Account
Visit paypal.com and sign in to your PayPal business account using your credentials. Make sure you're accessing the business dashboard, not personal account.

Navigate to Reports Section
In the main dashboard, click on "Reports" in the top navigation menu. This will take you to the reporting and transaction history section.

Select Transaction Download
Click on "Transaction Download" or "Activity Download" option. This allows you to generate and download detailed transaction reports including invoices.

Set Date Range and Filters
Choose the date range for which you want to download invoices. You can filter by transaction type, status, or specific payment methods to get only the invoices you need.

Select File Format
Choose your preferred file format for the download. PayPal typically offers CSV, TXT, or PDF formats. CSV is recommended for importing into accounting software.

Request and Download Report
Click "Request Download" to generate your report. Depending on the date range, this may take a few minutes. You'll receive an email notification when the report is ready for download.

Access Individual Transaction Details
For specific invoice details, go to "Activity" and click on individual transactions. You can view full transaction details and download individual receipts or invoices.
Common Issues & Solutions
Report generation takes too long
Large date ranges may take time to process. Try shorter date ranges (1-3 months) or check your email for the download notification.
Missing transaction details
Some older transactions may have limited data. Ensure you're selecting the correct account if you have multiple PayPal accounts linked.
Cannot find specific invoice
Use the search function in Activity section with transaction ID, email, or amount to locate specific payments and their associated invoices.
Download link expired
Download links are temporary. If expired, request a new report generation from the Transaction Download section.
File format not compatible
Try different file formats. CSV works best for accounting software, while PDF is better for archival purposes.
