Common Issues & Solutions
Can't find OneNote-specific invoices
OneNote doesn't have separate billing. It's included with Microsoft 365 Personal, Family, or Business subscriptions. Look for your Microsoft 365 or Office subscription invoices instead.
No access to billing information
Only the account owner or admin can access billing. For business accounts, contact your Microsoft 365 administrator to get invoices or request billing access.
Invoice download fails
Ensure pop-ups are enabled for microsoft.com. Try using Microsoft Edge browser or clear cache. Check your email for automatic receipt notifications from Microsoft.
Using free OneNote version
The free version of OneNote doesn't generate invoices. Only paid Microsoft 365 subscriptions that include OneNote will have billing records.
