Microsoft Teams is part of Microsoft 365 and Office 365 subscriptions. Accessing invoices for Teams requires navigating the Microsoft 365 admin center. This guide will help you download invoices for your Teams subscription and any additional Teams features or add-ons.
Prerequisites
You need Global Administrator or Billing Administrator role in Microsoft 365 to access billing information.
Access Microsoft 365 Admin Center
To access Microsoft Teams billing information:
- Go to admin.microsoft.com
- Sign in with your Microsoft 365 administrator account
- Ensure you have Global Administrator or Billing Administrator role
- You'll be taken to the Microsoft 365 admin center dashboard

Navigate to Billing Section
From the Microsoft 365 admin center:
- Click on "Billing" in the left navigation pane
- Look for "Bills & payments" or "Billing history"
- Click on "Bills & payments" to access billing information
- You'll see all Microsoft 365 and Teams-related charges

Access Invoice History
In the Bills & payments section:
- Look for "Invoice history" or "View invoices"

Download Individual Invoices
To download specific invoices:
- Click on the invoice you want to download

Set Up Invoice Delivery Preferences
To manage invoice delivery:
- Go to "Billing notifications" in the Billing section
- Add email addresses for invoice delivery
- Configure delivery preferences (email frequency, format)

Tip: You can set up multiple email addresses to receive invoice notifications.

Common Issues & Solutions
I don't see the Billing option in Microsoft 365 admin center
You need Global Administrator or Billing Administrator role to access billing information. Contact your organization's admin to grant you the necessary permissions.
Cannot find Teams-specific charges in invoices
Teams charges are often bundled with Microsoft 365 subscription. Look for itemized charges within the main Microsoft 365 invoice, or check for separate Teams add-on invoices.
Invoices are not downloading or opening
Ensure your browser allows downloads from microsoft.com and that pop-ups are enabled. Try using a different browser or clearing your browser cache.
Missing invoices for Teams Phone or Audio Conferencing
These premium Teams features may have separate billing cycles. Check the 'Usage-based billing' section for pay-per-use Teams services.
