Common Issues & Solutions

Can't access billing info

Make sure you have billing permissions on the account. Contact the account owner to grant billing access if you're a restricted user.

Akamai vs Linode branding

Linode was acquired by Akamai. You may see Akamai branding on newer invoices. The service and billing system remain the same.

Understanding hourly billing

Linode charges hourly for active resources but shows monthly totals on invoices. Deleted resources are billed for the hours they were active.

Missing older invoices

Historical invoices should be available in billing history. If you can't find old invoices, contact Linode support for archived records.
