How to Download Invoices from Intercom

Prerequisites

You need to be a Workspace Owner or have billing permissions to access and download Intercom invoices.

Sign in to Intercom

Access your Intercom workspace:

  1. Go to app.intercom.com
  2. Sign in with your Intercom credentials
  3. Select your workspace
  4. Ensure you have owner or billing permissions

Access Settings

Navigate to workspace settings:

  1. Click on the gear icon (Settings) in the left sidebar
  2. Or click your workspace name and select "Settings"
  3. Look for "Billing" or "Subscription" section
  4. Navigate to billing area

Navigate to Billing

Find billing section:

  1. In Settings, click "Billing" in the sidebar
  2. View your current subscription plan
  3. See active seats and features
  4. Look for "Billing history" or "Invoices" link

View Billing History

Access payment records:

  1. Click on "Billing history" or "View invoices"
  2. See list of all past charges
  3. Each entry shows date, amount, and description
  4. Filter by date range if available

Download Invoices

Get your invoice PDFs:

  1. Find the invoice you need
  2. Click "Download" or "Download PDF"
  3. Invoice saves as PDF file

Manage Billing Information

Update billing details:

  1. In Billing section, update payment method

Common Issues & Solutions

Can't access Billing section

Only Workspace Owners have billing access. If you're a teammate, ask your workspace owner to grant you owner permissions or provide the invoices.

No billing history available

If you're on a trial or free plan, billing history won't show. Invoices appear only after your first paid subscription charge.

Invoice download fails

Check browser settings to allow downloads from intercom.com. Clear cache and cookies, or try a different browser. Contact Intercom support if issue persists.

Invoice amount higher than expected

Intercom charges based on seats and message volumes. Check for seat additions, conversation overages, or feature add-ons. Review usage in your billing section.
