How to Download Invoices from Insightly

Insightly is a CRM and project management platform for small to mid-sized businesses. Managing your Insightly invoices is essential for tracking CRM software expenses. This guide will show you how to access and download invoices from your Insightly account.

Prerequisites

You need Admin access to your Insightly account to view billing information and download invoices.

Sign in to Insightly

Access your Insightly account:

  1. Go to login.insightly.com
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Enter your password
  4. Access your Insightly workspace

Access User Settings

Navigate to account settings:

  1. Click on your profile icon in the top right
  2. Select "User Settings" from dropdown
  3. Or look for settings gear icon
  4. You'll see account management options

Navigate to Subscription

Find billing section:

  1. In settings, click "Subscription & Billing"
  2. Or look for "Account" then "Billing"
  3. View your current plan details
  4. See user count and features

View Billing History

Access invoice records:

  1. Click on "Billing history" or "Invoices"
  2. See list of all past charges
  3. Each shows date, amount, and status
  4. View payment details

Note: Invoices include subscription fees for all users and add-ons.

Download Invoice PDF

Get your billing documents:

  1. Find the invoice you want to download
  2. Click "Download" or PDF icon
  3. Invoice downloads as PDF file
  4. Save for your accounting records

Manage Subscription

Update billing information:

  1. In Subscription section, update payment method
  2. Edit billing contact details
  3. Manage plan and user licenses
  4. View next renewal date and amount

Tip: Insightly sends email receipts for all subscription payments and renewals.

Common Issues & Solutions

Can't access billing settings

Only account Admins can access billing. Contact your Insightly administrator to grant permissions or have them download the invoices.

Free plan limitations

The free Insightly plan doesn't generate invoices since there are no charges. Billing and invoices only apply to paid plans.

Multiple products (CRM + Marketing)

If you use both Insightly CRM and Insightly Marketing, they may be billed separately. Check billing history for each product's invoices.

Missing older invoices

Historical invoices should be available in billing history. If you can't find older invoices, contact Insightly support for archived records.
