Prerequisites

You need to be the Account Owner to access billing information and download Hotjar invoices.

Sign in to Hotjar

Access your Hotjar account:

  1. Go to hotjar.com
  2. Click "Log in" and enter your credentials
  3. Navigate to your Hotjar organization
  4. Ensure you're the account owner

Access Organization Settings

Navigate to settings:

  1. Click on your organization name in the top left
  2. Select "Organization settings" from dropdown
  3. You'll be taken to organization management
  4. Look for billing or subscription section

Navigate to Billing

Find billing section:

  1. In Settings, click "Billing & Plans" tab
  2. View your current Hotjar plan
  3. See session limits and renewal date
  4. Look for "Billing history" or "Invoices"

View Invoice History

Access billing records:

Common Issues & Solutions

Can't access Billing settings

Only Account Owners can access billing. Contact your Hotjar account owner to download invoices or request ownership transfer.

No billing history available

Free Hotjar Basic accounts don't have billing history. Only paid plans (Plus, Business, Scale) have invoice access.

Invoice download not working

Ensure pop-ups are enabled for hotjar.com. Try clearing browser cache or using a different browser. Check email for automatic receipts.

Need older invoices

All invoice history should be available. If you can't find old invoices, contact Hotjar support for archived billing records.
