How to Download Invoices from CircleCI

CircleCI is a continuous integration and delivery platform for software development teams. Managing your CircleCI invoices is essential for tracking CI/CD infrastructure expenses. This guide will show you how to access and download invoices from your CircleCI account.

Prerequisites

You need Admin or billing access to your CircleCI organization to view and download invoices.

Sign in to CircleCI

Access your CircleCI account:

  1. Go to circleci.com/vcs-authorize
  2. Sign in with GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab
  3. Complete authentication
  4. Access your CircleCI dashboard

Access Organization Settings

Navigate to organization settings:

  1. Click on "Organization Settings" in the sidebar
  2. Or click your organization name and select settings
  3. Select the organization you want to manage
  4. You'll see organization options

Navigate to Plan

Find billing section:

  1. In Organization Settings, click "Plan"
  2. Or look for "Billing" option

Common Issues & Solutions

Can't access billing settings

Only organization Admins can access billing. Contact your CircleCI org admin to grant admin permissions or request they download the invoices.

Free plan credits

The free plan includes monthly credits. You won't receive invoices unless you exceed free credits or purchase a paid plan.

Credit-based billing

CircleCI uses credits for compute time. Your invoice shows credit purchases and usage. Check your plan to understand credit rates and costs.

Multiple organizations

If you're part of multiple CircleCI organizations, each has separate billing. Switch to the correct organization to access its invoices.
