Box is a leading cloud content management and file sharing service for businesses. Managing your Box subscription invoices is essential for tracking cloud storage expenses. This guide will show you how to access and download invoices from your Box account.

Prerequisites

You need to be an Admin or Co-Admin to access billing information and download Box invoices.

Sign in to Box

Access your Box account:

  1. Go to box.com
  2. Click "Log In" and enter your credentials
  3. Navigate to your Box dashboard
  4. Ensure you have admin access

Access Admin Console

Navigate to admin settings:

  1. Click on your profile icon in the top right
  2. Select "Admin Console" from the dropdown
  3. You'll be taken to the administration area
  4. Look for billing or account options

Navigate to Billing

Find billing section:

  1. In Admin Console, click "Billing" in the left sidebar
  2. View your current Box plan and usage
  3. See active users and storage
  4. Look for "Invoice history" or "Payment history"

View Invoice History

Access billing records:

  1. Click on "Invoice history" tab
  2. See list of all past invoices
  3. Each shows date, invoice number, and amount
  4. Filter by date range if available

Get your invoice PDFs:

  2. Click "Download PDF" or invoice number

Note: Invoices include plan tier, user count, and storage details.

Manage Billing Information

Update billing details:

  1. In Billing section, update payment method
  2. Edit billing address and company information
  3. Add tax ID or VAT number
  4. Changes apply to future invoices

Tip: Box sends invoice notifications to account administrators.

Common Issues & Solutions

Can't access Admin Console

Only Admins and Co-Admins can access the Admin Console and billing. Contact your Box administrator to grant admin privileges or request they download invoices for you.

No billing section in Admin Console

Free Box accounts don't have billing access. Only paid Business, Business Plus, and Enterprise plans have invoice history. Ensure you're on a paid plan.

Invoice download fails

Ensure pop-ups are enabled for box.com. Try clearing browser cache or using a different browser. Contact Box support if the issue persists.

Need historical invoices beyond visible range

Contact Box support to request invoices older than those shown in the invoice history. They can provide archived billing statements for your account.
