Basecamp is a popular project management and team collaboration platform. Managing your Basecamp subscription invoices is important for tracking project management expenses. This guide will show you how to access and download invoices from your Basecamp account.
Prerequisites
You need to be the Account Owner to access billing information and download Basecamp invoices.
Sign in to Basecamp
Access your Basecamp account:
- Go to basecamp.com
- Click "Sign in" and enter your credentials
- Navigate to your Basecamp dashboard
- Ensure you're the account owner
Access Account Settings
Navigate to account settings:
- Click on your avatar or name in the top right
- Select "Account & Billing" from the dropdown
- You'll be taken to the account overview
- Look for billing or subscription section
Navigate to Billing
Find billing section:
- In Account settings, click "Billing & Invoices"
- View your current Basecamp plan
- See subscription details and renewal date
- Look for "Invoice history" link
View Invoice History
Access billing records:
- Click on "View all invoices" or "Invoice history"
- See list of all past payments
- Each entry shows date, amount, and status
- Filter or search for specific invoices
Download Invoices
Get your invoice PDFs:
- Find the invoice you need
- Click "Download PDF" or "View invoice"
- Invoice opens or downloads as PDF

Note: Basecamp sends invoices via email automatically after each billing.
Manage Billing Information
Update billing details:
- In Billing section, update payment method
- Edit billing address and company details
- Add VAT number or tax ID if applicable
- Changes reflect on future invoices

Common Issues & Solutions
Can't find Account & Billing option
Only account owners can access billing. If you're not the owner, contact the person who created the Basecamp account to request invoices or owner access.
No invoice history available
Free trial accounts don't have invoice history. Invoices are only available for paid Basecamp subscriptions. Ensure your account has an active paid plan.
Invoice download not working
Ensure pop-ups are enabled for basecamp.com. Try using a different browser or clearing cache. Check your email inbox for receipt notifications from Basecamp.
Need invoices from previous year
All invoice history is available in the billing section regardless of age. If you can't find old invoices, contact Basecamp support for archived billing records.
