How to Download Invoices from Asana

Step-by-step guide to access and download Asana subscription invoices, billing statements, and payment receipts from your Asana team or organization account.

Log into Asana Account

Visit app.asana.com and sign in to your Asana account. Make sure you're logged into the account with admin privileges for the team or organization.

Access Team Settings

Click on your team name in the left sidebar, then select "Team Settings" from the dropdown menu or click the gear icon next to your team name.

Navigate to Billing & Invoices

In the team settings, look for "Billing" or "Billing & Invoices" tab in the left sidebar. Only team owners and billing admins can access this section.

View Invoice History

In the billing section, scroll down to find "Invoice history" or "Payment history" to see all your past Asana subscription payments and invoices.

Download Invoice PDF

For each invoice entry, click on the "Download" button or "View PDF" link to download the detailed invoice for that billing period.

Access Organization Billing

If you're part of an Asana Organization, navigate to "Organization Settings" instead of team settings to access organization-level billing and consolidated invoices.

View Detailed Invoice Information

Click on any invoice to view detailed information including subscription tiers, user counts, add-ons, taxes, and payment method details.

Common Issues & Solutions

Cannot access billing section

Only team owners and designated billing admins can view billing information. Contact your team owner to grant you billing access.

No invoices showing

If you're on Asana's free Basic plan, there won't be any invoices. Ensure you're viewing the correct team with a paid subscription.

Download button not responding

Try refreshing the page or disabling browser extensions that might block downloads. Use a different browser if issues persist.

Missing recent payments

New invoices typically appear within 24-48 hours after payment processing. Check back later or verify payment was successful.

Organization vs Team billing confusion

If you're part of an Organization, billing may be consolidated at the org level. Check both team and organization billing sections.
